New Mom, New Home

This is our newest family addition, Mitzi, a baby African Grey.  She now lives with us in Magnolia, and will have lots of company-- two horses, a Ridgeback, three Caiques, and three baby Quakers!  She is an absolute dear with a calm, trusting nature, and smart as a whip!  Thanks, Mary!

LUNCH!!  

Three baby Quaker Parrots and a single Caique hear the sound of formula being mixed and are ready to eat!  NOW!!
The Caique, Quigley, is an only child, and I borrowed the Quakers, who are a few weeks older, so he'd grow up knowing he's a bird. The Quakers treat him like a little hot water bottle!

Best Buds

This is JW Duke, a 4 month old Great Dane with his pal "Brat" Maverick, a 4 month old Green Wing Macaw.  They are working out how to distract me long enough to grab a cookie off the counter.
